I just finished watching the season 7 DVDs of CSI and while the identity of the “miniature killer” was revealed in the last episode, the fate of one of cast members hangs in the balance as the season concludes in a typical cliffhanger.

Recently, Andy Zhu published a PowerShell script that utilizes the undocumented CPSCOM to take a server “offline”. I took a look at it and thought, “Wow, this is great. I can use something like this for my maintenance scripts.” So, I took Andy’s idea and created a vbscript version of the script. Having this as a vbscript reduces the complexity and overhead of automating a PowerShell script.

Last week Microsoft rolled out their new ad compaign featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates. I'm sure most of you saw the ad, scratched your head and said "Huh?". Well, that's what I said. I'm watching the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC 88) at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Buffalo, NY and something strange happened. No, it wasn't that Rashad Even brutally knocked Chuck Liddel out in the second round. It was what happened after. Rashad Evans put this t-shirt on.
